The moon marks the time of magic. The word Janare is traced back to the more ancient Dianare, the followers of Diana, who was also considered the goddess of the moon and nocturnal spells. The moon is therefore the symbol of a magic that has always permeated the lands of Sannio-Benevento, and the influence of the lunar phases on natural cycles and on the rhythms of viticulture is something that is still taken into account today.
